Our Terms of Business & conditions of sale

Delivery

We use the Royal Mail First-Class recorded delivery service. Delivery in the UK typically takes 2-3 working days.

Orders are usually dispatched within 1 working day of being placed and payment being received.

Should you wish to ship your item to an alternate delivery address this can be arranged and the option to state an alternate address is provided within the checkout process. Please however be aware that we may contact you for additional information prior to shipment to confirm the legitimacy of the transaction - this is for your and our security. Please ensure your contact details are therefore accurate.

After 15 working days from the day a UK destination parcel is dispatched, an order is considered by our carrier, Royal Mail, as "Lost". In the unlikely event this occurs, please let us know through our customer services section and you will either receive a full refund or the option to have your goods dispatched to you again.

Re-Delivery Charges

Please ensure that the deliver address you enter is correct destination for your item. Goods that are returned to us due to an incorrect postage details will incur a further delivery charge.

Temporarily Out of Stock Items

You will be informed within 1-2 working days if any item you have ordered is currently out of stock and the estimated delivery date. Items will then be shipped to you immediately when they become available.

If you order more than one item and any other item you have purchased is temporarily out of stock then we will send you the items that are currently held in stock and provide you with an estimated stock delivery date for the remaining items. You will only be charged once for delivery.

Returns Policy

You are responsible for checking that goods are correct when you receive them (without opening them or removing them from the cellophane wrapper in the case of fragrances). Should the cellophane wrapper be removed then either a refund or return cannot be made for hygiene purposes).

If you receive an item that is faulty, you must notify us within 14 working days. We will repair or replace the goods or refund your payment, as appropriate should the item be found to be faulty. You must retain all original packaging, including outer packaging, to use if returning the goods to us.

Your satisfaction with any goods that you purchase from us is of paramount importance. If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason you may contact us within 14 days of receiving your goods to arrange a full refund of the cost of the goods. Refunds will be made within 25 days and unwanted goods must be returned to us, in as close to original condition as possible and with all included manufacturer's presentation boxes, instruction and guarantee booklets within 14 days (we expect customers to take ‘reasonable care’ of the items to be returned). The cost of return postage is to be met by you the customer.

We also recommend that customer returned goods are sent to us by Special Delivery or Signed For services with the appropriate insurance cover as they will only be deemed returned when signed for by us. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Please contact our customer services department for a returns authorisation code (RAC) prior to returning any faulty item. We will not accept returned goods that are not accompanied by the relevant RAC – the returns address will also be provided to you within the RAC confirmation communication.

Cancellation of your Order

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt of goods. This cancellation period commences the day after the day you receive the goods.

To cancel an order, please write a letter or send an email stating that you wish to exercise your right to cancellation, including your full name, address, and order number. Your item must be re-packaged securely and returned to us.

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered items to you in error or the item is faulty.

If you cancel your order after the delivery process has started you will be liable for any services included in the order such as postage & packing. Upon receipt of notice of cancellation, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for the products in your order within 25 days.

Fraud and Our & Your Protection

We take internet fraud seriously and employ intelligent systems to log customer locations for our mutual security. We refuse the right to cancel and refund if necessary, any customer/transactions we feel may be linked to internet fraud/financial crime.

Customs and Import Duties

When ordering goods for delivery overseas, your order maybe subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. Please note that you are considered the importer and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

International deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

Force Majure

Devils Emporium will not be liable for any breach of agreement, for delay or failure to perform if the delay or failure is due to acts of God, civil commotion, riots, floods, drought, fire, legislation or other cause beyond Devils Emporiums' reasonable control. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Liability

Under no circumstances shall the company be responsible for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

Distance Selling Regulations

The terms and conditions of sale detailed above are provided for your information, in line with legislation contained in Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. This legislation covers items bought where there is no direct contact between the supplier and the consumer. It does not apply where goods are bought for business use, from showrooms, fairs or exhibitions.
